Our Team

Multi-disciplinary Business Executive: CEO, CFO, Legal and Accounting skill

M&A:  As CFO and In-House Legal at Vermont Castings, CFM Majestic and The North Face; plus 5 years as a dedicated M&A consultant for $2.6B PacifiCorp Financial Services and 17 years+ at ClearPath.  Overall, 105 Buy transactions; 68 Sale transactions and 140 M&A projects – total 312.

The Right Thing:  We have a business model, compensation structure and set of core values that provide maximum assurance that we will do the right thing for our clients.  Whether that means sell, keep or walk away from a transaction.  Our ultimate goal is to help our clients create a salable business, whether they want to sell or not.

Community service:  Treasure and Board member – Blue Oaks Church and Teen Esteem.  Prior – Red Window Project.  Also a very active fundraiser for MS.

Multi-disciplinary Business Executive: COO, CFO, General Manager, VP Sales, Marketing and Distribution with additional experience in HR, Product Development, and Legal counsel.

M&A: More than 50 transactions — 43 buy-side and 7 sell-side.

The Right Thing:  Developed financial and business plan growing one client from $1.9 to $20M in sales over four years; facilitated owner buy-out to make one company 100% ESOP; helped another company secure LOC and grow business 50% and also walk away from an acquisition that wouldn’t deliver the right value.

Community service:  Board member for Contra Costa Umpire Association and for Betty Ross Foundation, supporting athletic and academic enrichment for less fortunate inner-city students from middle school through college.

Multi-disciplinary Business Executive: President and C-Level roles with expertise in Finance, Operations, Strategy, Sales, and Marketing, M&A Advisory.

M&A: End-to-end management of more than $450M in M&A enterprise value; experience with hundreds of PE firms, buyers and sellers.

The Right Thing:  It is always all about the client first and foremost. Our dedication to their goals and heartfelt care to their prosperity means we are regularly considered an integral part of their overall team.

Community service:  Youth sports coaching, homeowner’s board member.

Multi-disciplinary Business Executive: Experienced CFO, delivered financial planning, analysis and accounting across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, R&D, Production, IT, HR and Legal functions.

M&A: Due diligence, analysis, financial projections, earn out and integration of multiple buy and sell side transactions.

The Right Thing: Counsel includes inventory classification and restructured ERP for more accurate quotes and reduced cost variances; and created auditable set of financial statements from transaction detail which contributed to better due diligence results and ultimately the successful sales of the business.

Community service:  Local church Chairperson of the Finance Council and member of Capital Campaign steering committee.

Multi-disciplinary Business Executive: Founded, developed and transitioned three successful start-ups; also served as Vice President/General Manager and Director of Operations roles.

M&A: Two sell-side acquisitions and a merger prior to joining ClearPath.

The Right Thing: Drove ERP replacement based first on process mapping finance and control systems to optimize leverage; also helped create inventory control and move client to cycle counting with future state process maps. Set up client to manage go-forward process.

Community service:  Advisory council member with wife, Kate, for Agape Villages foster family placement agency.

Multi-disciplinary Business Executive: Experienced leader in Sales, Operations, and HR.

Organizational Health: As VP of HR for a services company the focus on Org Health moved from theory to action.  3 consecutive years of “Top Workplace” awards combined with 11 quarters of increasing employee satisfaction scores.  Believing that people are the only lasting differentiator is a core motivation.

The Right Thing: Our core value of Service is evident in everything we do. To us, putting the client’s needs above our own is how we live this value.  While there are times when this can be difficult, we understand that our long-term success comes as a result of our clients’ success.

Community service:  Director and Co-Founder of non-profit Active Charity since 2005.  Raised over $4M for various community organizations.
